  6. The mission of the company to support high quality, high bandwidth service has driven the development of Cyberstore's sophisticated network architecture, right down to equipment selections.

CYBERSTORE operates a regional network serving greater metropolitan Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna and Whistler in British Columbia with dialup (PPP) & dedicated-line access connections from 14.4 to full T1 services.  CYBERSTORE uses sophisticated LAN, routers, servers and modems to provide service to its established client base. CYBERSTORE's computers are from Sun Microsystems and Silicon Graphics. SunOS is the industry standard for UNIX mainframe computers and is the primary server/os found on the Internet network. The terminal servers and routers are the Livingston Portmaster and Telebit Netblazers which allow for PPP access to its customers.  The network operations center offers clients a complete range of Internet protocol based activities and World Wide Web activities on multiple servers.  Dedicated connections at speeds ranging from 14.4Kbps through to T1 (1.54Mbps) are managed through our central router network. Dial-up access is provided through remotely managed modems, terminal servers, and routers located in Kelowna, Victoria, and Whistler/Westel Network Centers.

Cyberstore has extensive World Wide Web services available. These range from Web Environments on a shared server and secure transactions on an encryption enabled Commerce server to web site creation and corporate needs assesment. Cyberstore also offers clients space in the Cyberstore server park.

With dial up catering primarily to the individual user and dedicated service focusing on business/organizational environments,  CYBERSTORE's B.C. wide network facilitates Internet connection within local dialling areas. This will provide access to the "Information highway" for individuals in smaller communities and direct Internet connection for corporate clients. CYBERSTORE has established strategic relationships with major organizations in order to provide the best service and facilities for our customers.

  14. Currently CYBERSTORE Systems has the most complete range of full Internet services in the industry providing PPP dialup and dedicated line access to individuals and organizations.

  18. Dial-up access is for individual or smaller business clients with a modem connection, wishing to access the Internet. Dial-up service is the most cost effective access for small business or individual home users and is charged on a time basis.

Dedicated access is for larger clients with greater Internet demands, who lease a dedicated line from the telephone company, such as, BCTel. The dedicated line allows for 24 hour, uninterrupted service for the client and will accommodate internal LAN networks, enabling multiple users to be on-line simultaneously. The monthly cost for a 28.8k dedicated connection is approximately $400.00 monthly and the cost for a T1 dedicated connection is approximately $1050.00 monthly

  35. Cyberstore's dial up accounts are structured in a term subscription manner :

  37.     - A one month term provides 15 hours of access time for $20.00.

  39.     - A three month term provides 15 hours of access time/month for $60.00.

  41.     - A six month term provides 20 hours of access time/month for $120.00.

  43.     - A three month term provides 25 hours of access time/month for $240.00.

  45. Cyberstore also offers blocks of time that can be purchased in conjunction with a subscription. These hours can be used at any time during a users subscription term.
